In December 2015, the new logistics center at the new Ravenna Park business location in Halle/Westphalia was put into operation. The largest single investment in the history of the international fashion and lifestyle group is gradually replacing the decentralized logistics warehouses at the Ibbenbüren, Osnabrück, Brockhagen and Dortmund sites. The construction project, with an investment volume of around EUR 90 million, took just 20 months to complete.

GERRY WEBER decided to draw on the expertise of PureLoX SOLUTIONS GmbH to provide optimum support for such a state-of-the-art and innovative logistics center during the start-up phase. Many years of experience in software projects, the coordination of various trades and a pronounced “hands-on mentality” were decisive criteria for GERRY WEBER to integrate PureLoX as a partner in the project.

The existing processes and solutions are constantly being refined and the possible performance further increased.
The entire flow of goods in both the hanging garment and flat-packed goods areas has been automated using state-of-the-art technology. Thanks to a stringent RFID concept, the logistics system is designed for maximum performance with a very high level of process reliability.”
